HALOX® 430 is recommended for long-term applications where the use of heavy metals, such as zinc, strontium, barium, molybdenum, and chromate is of concern. The dosage level for solvent-borne and waterborne 2K epoxy, alkyds & modified alkyds polyurethane is 6-10% & 3-6% respectively, for waterborne acrylic copolymer is 3-5%, and for solvent-borne polyester melamine/TGIC is 6-9%.
