Sin embargo, no contiene oximas ni fenólicas por lo que puede utilizarse como sustituto no peligroso de otros antioxidantes fenólicos y oxímicos. Es un líquido transparente, de baja viscosidad, incoloro a amarillento. Este producto se disuelve en un disolvente alcohólico con un alto punto de inflamación.
