Belsil® CM 3092 is a blend of cyclopentasiloxane and a high-moleculardimethiconol. It is used in hair-care and in skin care applications. Skin care and skin protection preparations containing this product impart a pleasant, supple feel to skin. It facilitates the distribution of the formulations and improves skin elasticity. At the same time, it forms a water-resistant but breathable protective barrier. This provides good substantivity and fixation of active ingredients.
