ETHOXCARE® HCO-50 is a surfactant that is 100% active nonionic, the polyethylene glycol ether of hydrogenated castor oil with an average of 50 repeating units of ethylene glycol. It can be used in combination or combined with other surfactants to achieve any required HLB. Since It is completely saturated, it is more stable and lighter in color than the analogous unsaturated castor oil materials. It is useful as an emulsifier for making oil-in-water emulsions but specific members of this series also have additional benefits. ETHOXCARE® HCO-50 is useful as a detergent and solubilizer. ETHOXCARE® HCO surfactants conform to a specification of 1ppm max for residual ethylene oxide and 10ppm max for 1,4-dioxane and are all palm-oil free. voir moins
