CAPSURETINOL RP is a water-based polymeric microcapsule containing 30% encapsulated retinyl propionate (750000 IU/g) for cosmetic use. This product is free of chemicals of concern such as BHA, formaldehyde, acrylates, parabens, and phenoxyethanol, among others. CAPSURETINOL RP ensures high encapsulation stability of retinyl propionate against early degradation and undesired interactions with external surfactants. It is dispersible in water without any external surfactant. During application, the product releases retinyl propionate through the controlled breakage of some capsules when rubbed onto the skin. However, some of the capsules remain in the skin's wrinkles, providing a prolonged local effect that intensifies the activity and results in a long-lasting effect.
