Kopirox (Piroctone Olamine) is a compound that is known for its bacteriostatic and fungicidal properties specially working against Pityrosporum ovale that lives on the skin. Pityrosporum ovale is associated with dandruff and other manifestations of flaking of face and scalp. Piroctone Olamine is also known as Octopirox.
