Due to its excellent dispersibility the additive improves leveling and gloss in powder coatings. It prevents impurities, craters and fish eyes. BYK-3931 P is a very effective anti-crater additive which should be used in combination with standard leveling additives. In especially sensitive powder coatings, BYK-3931 P enhances the effectiveness of standard additives and prevents surface craters, fish eyes and pinholes due to its air/coating interfacial activity. ANTI-TERRA®-204 BYK ANTI-TERRA®-204 is a solution of a polycarboxylic acid salt of polyamine amides. In comparison to ANTI-TERRA-203, ANTI-TERRA-204 can additionally be used in non-polar systems and is compatible with white spirits. The lower the polarity the more the thixotropy is increased. The preferred binders are long, medium and short oil alkyds, PVC-copolymers, chlorinated rubber and epoxy...voir plus ANTI-TERRA®-204 is a solution of a polycarboxylic acid salt of polyamine amides.
