OMEGALIGHT ® est une combinaison inédite et brevetée, sous forme d’ester, d’alcool pipéronylique et d’acide linoléique obtenue par voie enzymatique. Ces deux molécules ont été sélectionnées pour leurs propriétés éclaircissantes bien connues ou leur similarité structurale avec des composés possédant ces propriétés (ex. acide kojique). Elles ont été modélisées sous la forme d’un conjugué pour optimiser leur biodisponibilité et leur efficacité tout en garantissant sécurité pour les consommateurs et bénéfices en formulation (pas d’impact couleur, stabilité de la couleur…).
Proposant un mécanisme d’action spécifique de régulation de la mélanogenèse, dès le noyau, via la voie PPAR (triple agonisme vis-à-vis des PPAR α, δ, γ), OMEGALIGHT ® se révèle être un inhibiteur efficace des enzymes clés (tyrosinase et TRP-1) et de la production de mélanine.
