Freshstat™ Plus has been specifically designed for use in anionic surfactant systems which need added preservation against mold in pH systems that are <6.0. Surfactant based shampoos, body washes, and hand soaps preserved with Freshstat™ alone may not be adequate enough to pass the microbial efficacy testing for Aspergillus brasiliensis. It can be used as a preservative for rinse-off and leave-on cosmetics and toiletries including skincare creams and lotions, antiperspirants and deodorants, hair care, sun-care, hand sanitizers, and color cosmetics.
