It is a water-soluble homo-polyamide consisting of D- glutamic acid and L-glutamic acid monomers connected by amide linkages between α-amino and γ-carboxyl groups. Its molecular weight is usually between 100 – 1000 kDa. It is applicable to a wide range of products including home and personal care, food, healthcare, water treatment and agriculture. When applied in cosmetic products, a dosage of 0.05% - 1.00% is recommended.
