Cosphaderm® Dicapo RSPO/MB is a preparation with many useful functions for the intended use in cosmetic formulations. Caprylyl glycol, as a member of the glycol family, is an emollient with humectant abilities and skin conditioning as well as hair conditioning properties. Dipropylene glycol works as good solvent with masking, perfuming and viscosity controlling effects. Glyceryl Caprylate is a high purity monoester of glycerine and caprylic acid. Beside its main action as emollient and emulsifier, it has also moisturizing, wetting and re-fatting properties. All three substances have one important thing in common - a significant antimicrobial effect. The combination of those enables a comprehensive protection for all kinds of formulations against bacteria, yeasts and molds in a broad pH-range (3.5–7.0). voir moins
