For new developments, however, the additives DISPERBYK® 2164 and DISPERBYK®2163 (see Data Sheet W235) should be preferred. DISPERBYK® 163 has an even lower molecular weight than DISPERBYK-162, is less polar and is used primarily in general industrial coatings and to produce pigment concentrates. It has a wider compatibility in various binder types than DISPERBYK® 161 and DISPERBYK® 162. The aromatic-free version of DISPERBYK® 163 is available as the product DISPERBYK® 167. voir moins

This product is a slightly cloudy, colorless liquid that is composed of block copolymer of propylene oxide and ethylene oxide, containing 20% w/w ethylene oxide. Genapol® PF 20 has good wetting and dispersing action coupled with low foaming tendency. Within the Genapol® PF series, the products with a lower degree of ethoxylation have a better foam-suppressing effect than the products with a higher degree of ethoxylation. Typical applications include rinsing aids, detergents for dishwashers and bottle-rinsing machines and industrial cleaning formulations. voir moins
