BM61A, in the form of a pellet, is a copolymer of methacrylates that offers performance on good durability, adhesion, low shrinkage, and good flexibility. It can be dissolved in numerous organic solvents such as chlorinated solvents, high alcohol, aromatic hydrocarbons, ketones, esters. It has good compatibility with cellulose acetate, NC, vinyl resin, plasticizer, and it is commonly used in UV ink formulation (OPP/BOPP film) as inert resin to reduce shrinkage and to enhance adhesion. BM61A is also broadly used in gravure inks, aluminum heat sealing lacquer, cardboard ink, and more. It has a molecular weight of 50,000 g/mol, moisture content of equal to or less than 0.5%, and an inherent viscosity of 0.20 to 0.26. voir moins
