Purox® S is the highest quality sodium benzoate available on the market and has a long history of use as a globally trusted, nature identical preservative. It is used to safely and effectively inhibit microbial growth up to pH 6.5, and it is a green-label alternative to preservatives under scrutiny, including sensitizers such as isothiazolinones (BIT, MIT, MCIT), irritants, parabens, and formaldehyde releasers. It is biodegradable and authorized for use under green label programs such as ECOCERT COSMOS, EU Ecolabel, and Nordic Swan. Kalama Sodium Benzoate is often used with Kalama Benzyl Alcohol NF/FCC to leverage the ingredients’ natural antimicrobial synergy. Common applications include lotions, moisturizers, and topical ointments, soaps, shampoo and conditioner, wipes, oral care products, and feminine hygiene products. Purox S is manufactured to very high purity and quality standards, ensuring an excellent taste and odor profile. It is produced at LANXESS’s food-grade operation certified to meet FSSC 22000 for food safety, as well as ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015. Emerald Kalama Chemical was acquired by LANXESS in 2021.

Find the link to your List page in the user menu.
All Tags have been converted to separate Lists, and your bookmarked items have been saved to a "Bookmarks" List.

You can also create a new List. Simply click "Create a New List" and enter a name.
When you define a new List, the current item is automatically added to it. You can add a product or formula to as many Lists as you need.
