Dipropylene glycol works as good solvent with masking, perfuming and viscosity controlling effects. Glyceryl Caprylate is a high purity monoester of glycerine and caprylic acid. Beside its main action as emollient and emulsifier, it has also moisturizing, wetting and re-fatting properties. All three substances have one important thing in common - a significant antimicrobial effect.
