Norfox® 1101 is the potassium salt of coconut fatty acid derived from whole coconut oil. It provides the flash foam, emulsifying, and lathering properties typical of coconut soaps together with high solubility and coupling power. Being prepared from whole coconut oil, the product contains glycerin, a natural moisturizer important in formulating liquid hand soaps. Norfox® 1101 can be used as a base for natural personal care products, specifically liquid hand soaps. Soaps such as Norfox® 1101 have also been used as a base for formulating insecticidal soap and plant wash. The product is also highly effective as a lubricant for conveyors, metalworking, and other industrial applications.
