Es a la vez duro y flexible, con una temperatura de transición vítrea (Glass Transition Temperature, TG) alta, y ofrece excelente estabilidad al calor, buena solubilidad y buena resistencia al clima. Este producto se utiliza principalmente en poliésteres, como fibras de poliéster y resinas de poliéster no saturado, como PETG, PCT, PCTG, PCTA, entre otros. Puede aumentar la reactividad en los compuestos de poliéster y mejorar la estabilidad hidrolítica, la plasticidad, el brillo, la transparencia, la imprimibilidad y la capacidad de procesamiento del polímero.
