It can be used in applications requiring a cationic polyelectrolyte, including influent and effluent clarification, sludge thickening, lime softening, and sludge dewatering. Bufloc® 590 is a water-in-oil emulsion that must be diluted with water before use. This product should be made down to a dilution of 0.2%–1.0% prior to feeding using a suitable polymer make-down system. Dilutions of polymers should be used within 24 hours of inversion. The recommended feedrate for Bufloc® 590 for clarification applications is 0.25–5.0 ppm. Sludge dewatering applications may require much higher dosages. Vea Menos | |
