This resin is characterized by fast cure, light color, chemical and heat resistance with high gloss, good dispersion and good flexibility after coating. It is used in various UV/EB applications such as inks, coatings and overprinting varnishes. This product is a clear yellowish liquid. Formulated UV/EB curable products containing DOUBLEMER® 1283C may be applied via lithographic, screen, gravure, direct or reverse roller and curtain coating methods. This product is recommended for use in: clear coatings for paper, paper board, wood, chipboard and rigid plastics; overprint varnishes; lithographic and screen ink; wood sealers; paper upgrading; laminating adhesives; and fast cure coatings.
