SYLOID® W 900 Multifunctional Silica is a multifuctional silica that is a synthetic amorphous matting agent appearing as white free flowing powder. It is an untreated, medium porosity silica. The pores of the silica are filled with water and consequently the water content is approximately 55 %. SYLOID® W 900 has been specially designed for water-borne systems, but may also find use in solvent-borne systems. It is mainly used in paper coating, especially for ink-jet paper, to improve the ink uptake. It can also be used in a structuring agent and as anti-skid aid in paint systems. Vea Menos
