It achieves anti-inflammatory at gene level through mediating NF-kB pathway, preventing nuclear accumulation and translocation of NF-kB p65 and degradation of IkB-α, down-regulation of iNOS and COX-2 protein and mRNA expression to decrease cell inflammation.
