Oleuropein 80% is a standardized natural extract from Olea europaea (Olive) leaves, that contains a minimum of 80% Oleuropein. Oleuropein is a polyphenolic compound that can be used in antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant formulations. It scavenges peroxy radicals, hydroxy radicals and superoxide anions and the chelates transition metal ions that catalyze oxidation processes. It can be used in sun protectant creams and lotions, anti-aging products, lip balms, and antibacterial hand and body washes and sprays.
