CyaniMax® Blackberry Extract is a dark purple powder made from black berries and contains no less than 35% cyanidin‑3‑glucoside (C3G). Cyanidin‑3‑glucoside is a very powerful anthocyanins and are considered secondary metabolites as a food additive with E number E163 (INS number 163); they are approved for use as a food additive in the EU, Australia and New Zealand. Anthocyanins are natural pigments responsible for the color of fruits, vegetables, and other plants. According to recent research, anthocyanins act as powerful antioxidants that counteract the damaging effects of oxidation in human tissue. As the strongest among all of the main anthocyanins, C3G supports a broad range of health benefits.
