This product appears as a white or yellowish-white, hygroscopic powder with a sweet taste 33-200 times sweeter than sucrose. It is slightly soluble in water, being fully soluble in hot water, and slightly soluble in anhydrous ethanol, practically insoluble in acetone, soluble in hydroalcoholic mixtures, and soluble in glycerin and propylene glycol. Ammonium Glycyrrhizate can be used in dental hygiene and protection products, and because it has a sweet taste, it can be formulated in tablets, toothpaste, lip balms and other products in order to mask unpleasant flavors. view less
