Ammonium Glycyrrhizate is obtained from the roots of the licorice plant (Glycyrrhiza glabra L and/or of Glycyrrhiza inflata Bat. and/or of Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch) by extraction and purification methods. This product appears as a white or yellowish-white, hygroscopic powder with a sweet taste 33-200 times sweeter than sucrose. It is slightly soluble in water, being fully soluble in hot water, and slightly soluble in anhydrous ethanol, practically insoluble in acetone, soluble in hydroalcoholic mixtures, and soluble in glycerin and propylene glycol. Ammonium Glycyrrhizate can be used in dental hygiene and protection products, and because it has a sweet taste, it can be formulated in tablets, toothpaste, lip balms and other products in order to mask unpleasant flavors.

Find the link to your List page in the user menu.
All Tags have been converted to separate Lists, and your bookmarked items have been saved to a "Bookmarks" List.
When you click the Add to List button, a dropdown of your existing Lists appears. Click the List name to which you want to add this product or formula.
You can also create a new List. Simply click "Create a New List" and enter a name.
When you define a new List, the current item is automatically added to it. You can add a product or formula to as many Lists as you need.
Easily see which Lists this item appears in, and quickly go to that List from the links that appear on the page.
