This product has proved to be compatible with high-quality emulsion paints. Therefore, paints with FoamStar® SI 2293 maintain gloss. It is also suitable as a defoamer in emulsion and suspension polymerization, particularly in the manufacture of polyvinyl chloride, vinyl acetate and acrylic emulsions. FoamStar® SI 2293 is VOC-free according to 2002/42/EU and EPA 24 (US). It has low odor, does not stratify in storage and is free of mineral oils.
