Red Wine Vinegar is made by the alcoholic fermentation and subsequent acetous fermentation of the juice of grapes or wine stock, adjusted with water to the specified strength. This product has a bright medium red, practically clear appearance, and is free from cloudiness. It has a clean, red wine note and characteristic (acidic) taste, free from foreign flavor or aroma. Red Wine Vinegar has a grain (% acid X 10) (analyzed by volume) size of 50.0 – 51.0, and a residual alcohol (single strength) amount of 0.5% maximum.
