DermaTive Hydroquinone CG (Cosmetic Grade) is a synthetic phenolic compound. It is naturally found in coffee, tea, and wine, and is used in the cosmetic, photographic, and chemical industries. Cosmetically, hydroquinone is used as a skin lightening agent functioning to inhibit melanogenesis, in applications to treat melasma, freckles, and senile lentigines (age spots).
