It can be used as a co-monomer in PMMA based acrylic formulations to increase the impact resistance, hydrophobicity and structural integrity of resins, composites and coatings. It is also particularly useful as a replacement for styrene in unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins used in a wide range of applications including chemical fixings and composites.
