Kalama® C-6 Aldehyde FCC (CAS no. 66-25-1) has fruity, slightly grassy, fatty-green character that is reminiscent of unripe fruit at low concentrations. It is also known as hexanal, hexyl aldehyde, or caproaldehyde. Kalama C-6 Aldehyde FCC is an FDA approved, GRAS flavoring substance (21 CFR § 172.515) and is produced using the highest standards for quality, safety, and sustainability, including ISO 9001:2015, FSSC 22000, and ISO 14001:2015.
