HALOX® SZP-391 JM ICL Phosphate Specialty HALOX® SZP-391 JM by ICL is a non-refractive, most efficient, and versatile corrosion inhibitive pigment designed for long-term corrosion protection. It is used in protective coating systems. It is a jet-milled version of HALOX® SZP-391. It is recommended for water- & solvent-based epoxies, epoxy esters, polyurethanes, short-, medium- & long oil alkyds (both traditional and high solids), polyurethane- & alkyd dispersions, water-reducible alkyds, chlorinated polymers, acrylics, polyesters and silicones. It offers increased ease of incorporation. HALOX® SZP-391 JM is designed for use in thin film (<25 microns) and clear coats (<10 microns). It is designed for use in latexes, high acid value resins, catalyzed baking systems, and vinylidene chloride latexes. The dosage level is 2-5% based on total formula weight in many water-based systems and 3-7% based on total formula weight in traditional solvent-based coatings.
