Hycar® 2679 emulsion is a heat-reactive acrylic latex polymer. It provides outstanding wash and dry cleaning resistance and is not easily soiled. It achieves discoloration resistance to light and heat aging -- the later being outstanding even in its own class of acrylic latexes. But most important is that these outstanding properties are achieved with a minimum heat requirement. This, combined with the latex’s ease of compounding because of its good colloidal stability, can affect significant cost savings.
