POLYVEST® eCO MA 75 Bio is a maleic anhydride adduct of a low molecular weight 1,4-cis polybutadiene which has succinic anhydride groups randomly distributed along the polymer chains. This makes the originally apolar polybutadiene more polar and accessible for various chemical reactions. POLYVEST® eCO MA 75 Bio is compliant with the sustainability criteria laid down by the ISCC, a voluntary certification and a trusted standard. It does not differ in its physicochemical properties compared to the standard grade derived from fossil-based raw materials. Therefore, it can be used as a drop-in replacement by customers because it does not require any additional tests, requalification, or investment. POLYVEST® eCO MA 75 Bio brings the same well-known performance but has reduced carbon emissions.
