Chisorb® 519 is a steric, monomeric hindered amine light stabilizer. The increment of color yield for pigmented polyolefins is the main characteristic of Chisorb® 519, which is superior to that of other commercialized HALS. Due to its specific structure with high molecular weight, Chisorb® 519 exhibits outstanding light stability, low volatility, high migration and extraction resistance as well as excellent anti-gas fading properties for the protection of various polymers like PP, styrenic resins etc.
Chisorb® 519 also acts as an effective antioxidant and, in addition, gives significantly long-term heat stability to polyolefins. This white to light yellow granule is particularly effective in polyolefins i.e. polypropylene, polyethylene and polybutene. It is also recommended for styrene homo- and copolymers like ABS resin, PET, PBT, engineering plastics, polyurethane, polyamide, flexible and rigid PVC, PVDC, elastomers, EPDM; PA, PET and PP fiber; adhesives, and holt melt.
