Definicire™ is an Hair Care texturizer, that mimics the beneficial conditioning and protective properties of hair sebum without the greasiness. It can substitute silicones in hair treatment products. Definicire™ is close to sebum in chemical structure, but with higher carbon chain lengths to optimize performance and avoid greasiness. Tests demonstrate that hair regains hydrophobicity and is protected from humidity and frizz. The hair becomes easier to manage and is smooth to touch, also style is maintained for longer. Definicire™ is well suited for conditioners, shampoo bars, hair masks, hair serums, anti-frizz day creams, protective hair sprays or hair lotions but also men's lines such as beards styling gums and waxes. It is an effective composition in the prevention of dandruff and itchiness by offering excellent washability. It reduces the amount of total surfactant/washing residue and controls the residue of substances that feed the scalp's indigenous bacteria. It improves thickness and foam quality in amino acid-based shampoos. It reduces irritation compared to general amphiphilic surfactant (e.g., cocamidopropyl betaine). Propionic acid skeleton of PIUSERIA AMC shows bacteriostatic effect against dandruff-causing bacteria. It is good for shampoos and face and skin wash formulations. view less
