It works well as a film former, emollient, and dispersing agent for all types of pigment dispersions. It is a highly effective dispersant for the inorganic sunscreens TiO2 and ZnO. C’ESTER PHSA-6 can increase UV absorption resulting in cost savings from being able to use less sunscreen for a given level of protection. It also reduces whitening and improves optical transparency. C’ESTER PHSA-6, even at low levels, can significantly decrease the viscosity of dispersions allowing for the use of pigments at higher levels. view less
