Spectrastat™ MHG Natural MB is ideal for personal care products as an alternative to parabens, phenoxyethanol, MIT or other preservatives that may be undesirable. The novel blend of Caprylhydroxamic Acid with Methylheptylglycerin, a non-silicone anti-soaping agent, creates a ready-to-use combination that effectively controls bacteria, yeast, and mold over a broad pH range from pH 4 – 8 with a typical use level of 0.5 – 2.0% (w/w).
