Because a significant part of it melts at temperatures < 30 °C, Kahlwax 6290 feels very silky and soft, comparable to a classic emollient. In addition, Kahlwax 6290 is producing very soft textures and improves significantly the sensory characteristics of O/W emulsions. Additionally it is an excellent additive for oleogels, suitable for lip gloss formulations and mascaras, and works as an outstanding pay-off enhancer in lipsticks.
