Chemically, it is a complex mixture of esters of aliphatic alcohols, sterols and fatty acids. Anhydrous Lanolin has emulsifying properties forming stable w/o type emulsions. It has a water absorption capacity of up to two or more times of its weight. Anhydrous Lanolin is an effective emollient for the skin. It is a basic ingredient of most cosmetic and pharmaceutical products. Ecolano LN-C is COSMOS approved lanolin conforms to both EP and USP. This grade doesn't contain BHT. view less
