TFP-S130 (Tremella fuciformis) also known as snow fungus, is a traditional Chinese edible mushroom with a history of over a thousand years of consumption in China. The Tremella polysaccharides it contains have special health functions and medicinal value. Modern medicine has proven that Tremella polysaccharides can enhance human immune function, promote the biosynthesis of serum proteins and ribonucleic acids, protect and prevent wound infections, and facilitate the physiological repair pathway of wounds. Moreover, Tremella polysaccharides are non-toxic substances.
Tremella polysaccharides, whose spatial network structure is characterized by α- (1-3) Mannan linked by glycosidic bonds serves as the backbone, with side chains containing xylose, fucose, glucuronic acid, and glucose.
Our Tremella polysaccharides are extracted using physical methods and do not use industrial alcohol. There is no risk of residual impurities in industrial alcohol, and they are safe and edible. With a molecular weight greater than 1 million Daltons, the aqueous solution is clear and transparent, with a refreshing skin feel. When used as a thickener, the viscosity is stable ( 0.6% aqueous solution has a viscosity of approximately 1220 mPa · s). It has good film-forming and skin friendly properties, and is a natural moisturizing material. It can be used in hair products to repair hair scales and make hair smoother.
