It is designed for high polarity systems based on alcohol, glycol, ketone & oxygenated type solvents as well as in mixtures of those with water. It provides strong pseudoplastic- & thixotropic characters, suspension, and anti-sagging properties. It improves consistency and prevents the settling of pigments in printing inks, paints & coatings. It offers high stability during the transportation and storage of coatings. Pangel® B42 is used in epoxy 2k- & urethane coatings, coatings for the lower part of the car, zinc-rich primers, casting mold, and nitrocellulose-based varnishes. The recommended dosage level for paints & coatings is 0.2-1% and for inks is 0.5-3%. It has a shelf life of 1 year. view less |
