Lycopene (E160D)

Lycopene (E160D) is a bright red carotene and carotenoid, phytochemical found in tomatoes and other red fruits and vegetables, used as a natural pigment and antioxidant. It is one of the most powerful antioxidants, used in foods, pharmaceutical and cosmetics applications. It is available in a mix with active principle concentrations of 3% and 6%. Non-toxic and not synthetic, extracted from natural tomatoes by CO2 supercritical fluid extraction (CO2-SFE) and molecule distillation concentration techniques (MD), which retains main active principle and absolutely no toxic solvent remained.

This product can be used for food supplements, fruit/vegetable based drinks, sports drinks, diet drinks, breakfast cereals, fats and dressings, soups, and bread.
