Lutein 20 is an extract of vegetable lutein from marigold flowers (Tagetes erecta). It is crystalline lutein suspended in sunflower oil. Lutein is a carotenoid which is present in our daily diet since it is found in dark green leafy vegetables such as spinach. However, the intake needed to notice its health benefits is very high (6-10 mg per day), according to research.
As other carotenoids, lutein is an effective antioxidant that protects from blue light absorption and it is also, selectively, accumulated in the macula of human retina, and filters potentially phototoxic blue light and near-ultraviolet radiation. Lutein not only supports eye health, but also reduces the skin´s sensibility against UV light damages. This product is an orange thick liquid with a slightly floral odor.

Find the link to your List page in the user menu.
All Tags have been converted to separate Lists, and your bookmarked items have been saved to a "Bookmarks" List.
When you click the Add to List button, a dropdown of your existing Lists appears. Click the List name to which you want to add this product or formula.
You can also create a new List. Simply click "Create a New List" and enter a name.
When you define a new List, the current item is automatically added to it. You can add a product or formula to as many Lists as you need.
Easily see which Lists this item appears in, and quickly go to that List from the links that appear on the page.
