Ferrous Sulfate is a pale, blue-green crystals or granules that are efflorescent in dry air. In moist air it oxidizes readily to form a brown-yellow, basic ferric sulfate. It's soluble in water and insoluble in ethanol. It is odorless and has a salty taste. It is used as a nutritional supplement and a fruit and vegetable chromogenic reagent. It is packed with plastic bag as inner layer, and a compound plastic woven bag as the outer layer. The net weight of each bag is 25 kg.
