Bay Oil is a brownish viscous liquid extracted from the leaves of Laurus nobilis L. tree, an evergreen tree or shrub popular in the Mediterranean. This flavoring agent has an aroma and flavor characteristic of bay leaf, and finds application in savory products, meats, soups, sauces, baked goods, ethnic foods, and confectionery.
