CyaniMax® Blackberry Extract is a dark purple powder made from black berries and contains no less than 35% cyanidin‑3‑glucoside (C3G). Cyanidin‑3‑glucoside is a very powerful anthocyanins and are considered secondary metabolites as a food additive with E number E163 (INS number 163); they are approved for use as a food additive in the EU, Australia and New Zealand. Anthocyanins are natural pigments responsible for the color of fruits, vegetables, and other plants.
