Weyermann® CARARED® is produced from quality spring barley. It is perfect for adding red color values to red ales and Vienna lagers, and it is slightly aromatic. This product contributes gentle maltiness, as well as some body to finished beer. Its flavor is malty-sweet, notes of caramel, honey and biscuit. It is intended for red colored beer, amber beer, red ales, Scottish ales, "altbier," bock beer, wheat beer, and hefeweizen.
