Acesulfame K, also known as Acesulfame Potassium, is an artificial sweetener in white crystalline powder form. Its molecular formula is C4H4NO4SK. It is certified FCC IV and Kosher. It is immediately sweet, though its flavor profile differs from conventional sugar and works best with another sweetener. It is 200 times as sweet as sucrose. This product can be used as a sugar substitute in virtually any food or beverage application.
