This product is characterized by its excellent solubility in water and its optimal compatibility in different polymer systems. Hydropalat® 88 contains none of the flammable cosolvents needed to improve the solubility of other, conventional sulfocarboxylic acid-based surfactants. Hydropalat® 88, with a flash point of > 100 °C, is therefore not a dangerous substance as defined in the applicable transport regulations. The absence of highly volatile consolvents gives Hydropalat 88 obvious advantages in term of ease of handling. It does not show troublesome skin formation on the product surface, which can occur spontaneously in concentrated surfactant formulations that contain solvents. view less | |
