It provides leveling and surface smoothness, increased slip and mar-resistance, stabilizes the curtain and improves overspray acceptance. Efka® 3236 is particularly recommended for non-aqueous coatings such as baking enamels based on alkyd, acrylic or polyester resins, acid-curable or polyurethane wood finishes particularly when applied by curtain coating, self-leveling epoxy flooring compounds, UV-curable paper lacquers and air-drying alkyd systems. view less

It is also a gelling aid for organically modified bentonite. This product is a 50% solution of an electroneutral salt of a polycarboxylic acid with amine derivatives dissolved in higher aromatics. Texaphor® 963 is an almost universally applicable additive for nonaqueous coatings. It has proved its value in particular in systems based on alkyd resins, alkyd/melamine resins, acrylic and epoxy resins, chlorinated rubber, linseed oil/stand oil, etc. If some linear binders which contain hydroxyl groups (e.g. Desmophen® types from Bayer)are used with our product, thixotropy can occur. view less
